Electric Duo Tour With Dan Patlansky & Dean Barrett
With over nine albums to his name and a SAMA award under his belt, Dan Patlansky kicks off his Electric Duo Tour in Johannesburg this month. This tour features a brand new format and set for fans to enjoy in an intimate setting. With Patlansky on electric guitar and Dean Barrett on the keyboard, the electric duo will send shockwaves through your system. This is a one of a kind Dan Patlansky experience that you don’t want to miss!
What to Expect
The Electric Duo Tour will be a unique experience to what most fans are used to. Instead of a solo acoustic act, Patlansky will be introducing a few exciting surprises and elements to the set this time around. The performance will be hosted in an intimate setting where fans can enjoy a more personalised experience with both artists. The repertoire will feature songs from Patlansky’s last three studio albums that have been handpicked and reinvented to fit in with the format of the show.

Liefde By Die Dam
Liefde By Die Dam, aptly named after Valiant Swart’s famous hit song is back for another day of show-stopping performances and unforgettable experiences. The day will be jam-packed with some of South Africa’s top-performing artists, good food and a vibrant backdrop of the Emmarentia Dam.
What to Expect
Liefde By Die Dam is a family-friendly environment so children of all ages can join in on the fun. Festival-goers can look forward to a line up of non-stop entertainment from Die Heuwels Fantasties, Francois Van Coke, Early B, The Soweto Gospel Choir, Spoegwolf, Coenie De Villiers, Tarryn Lamb and Radio Raps. There will be plenty of delicious food available for you to enjoy. Snacks, umbrellas and folding chairs are welcome.

Parklife Festival
Jozi’s favourite one-day music festival returns for its eighth instalment of some of the best live entertainment in the country. Get the long weekend started with a day of great food, wonderful scenery in the botanical gardens and an earful of live performances from SA’s best local bands.

It goes without saying that the Parklife Festival has become a yearly tradition that brings everyone around Gauteng together. There is ample space for festival-goers to dance, jump, and let their spirits run wild. This year’s line up includes acts from legendary artists such as Janie Bay, Mathew Mole, Aking, PHFAT, Desmond And The Tutus, Ross Learmonth (Prime Circle) and much much more. Two days of absolute bliss! Festival-goers will be treated to an intimate performance by the Parlotones and can expect some of their all-time favourite hits. The Unplugged(ish) Tour will also feature new songs from the band’s new album ‘Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue’.

The Rank Rave
The Rank Rave Psytrance festival returns to the skies for another night of mayhem. Dance the night away on top of one of Jozi’s most beautiful rooftop terraces with a drink in hand and some of the worlds best electronic music. Enjoy spectacular views of the city and mingle with new and exciting faces. Attendance is compulsory for anyone who admires the pulsating beats of Psytrance.

This rooftop party will be fully equipped with a fully stocked bar, a Bedouin tent-covered chill area, incredible decor, Funktion-One Sound and of course a list of international and local artists.
