Huawei Joburg Day
It’s the day all Joburgers have been waiting for! This year’s Huawei Joburg Day promises to deliver a musical experience that won’t soon be forgotten. The line up includes performances from some of South Africa’s most talented artists. Much like last year, and the year before, this festival is an outing that the whole family can enjoy. Grab your Ouma, aunty, dad, kids, and mom and kick summer off with a bang!

Festival-goers can purchase general or VIP experience tickets, however, the musical experience will be the same for both.

Pirate Fest
Calling all landlubbers, pirates and rockers! This is a day you don’t want to miss. The American metalcore phenomenon Atreyu will be gracing us with a one of a kind performance this year. To add to this thrashing news, Pirate Fest is guaranteed to be one of the largest themed alcohol and music festivals this side of town. Eye patches are encouraged!
What to Expect
Besides the great ale, there will be a wide range of featured attractions such as Liquid Paradise, which is a themed alcohol experience, The Bermuda Triangle, which will have food to die for, and of course, a Mr & Mrs Sparrow cosplay contest. The event will be hosted by comedian Rob Van Vuuren, who will also be hosting the Captain Bad’s Pirate Games. The lineup is enough to send you sailing through the skies with performances from Alestorm, Atreyu, Tweak, Hellcats, and Fuzigish.

Lentedag
Pretoria’s biggest student music festival is back with a lineup that will blow your eardrums! Lentedag and Park Acoustics in collaboration with Budweiser have pulled out all the stops to bring you a day filled with your favourite tunes, a spectacular view, and of course some of the best gourmet street food in town.
What to Expect
Other than student friendly bar prices, Lentedag has a few exciting features up its sleeve. There will be a silent disco and a whole lot of activities and games during the day. There will be three stages for everyone to enjoy and see their favourite acts. There is no doubt that this is one of the biggest line ups we have seen from Lentedag!

Oktoberfest 2019
South Africa’s very own version of Oktoberfest will be quenching our thirst for another year. In true German spirit, Oktoberfest will be filled with live entertainment, phenomenal giveaways and of course beer! Bring the family along and enjoy this amazing German experience under our sunny African skies.
What to Expect

Mix Fest
The Cradle Moon Game Lodge, which lies in the Cradle of humankind is the perfect backdrop for an epic music festival. Mix FM in partnership with Channeled Events will be hosting the first-ever music festival of its kind. The theme of the event is nostalgia which means that fans can expect to see some of their favourite bands such as Springbok Nude Girls and Watershed as light up the stage. September is deaf awareness month so in the true spirit of giving back, Mix FM will be donating a portion of ticket sales to Rotary for this cause.
What To Expect
Fans will be able to enjoy their favourite bands from the grassy banks and choose from two separate bar areas. One being a vibey beer tent overlooking the main stage area. There will be a pop-up food tent with a large variety of gourmet street food and heavenly treats on both days of the festival. There will be fixed tents and chalets available for those who don’t want to miss any of the action. The VIP area includes access to the lakeside restaurant and white beaches that overlook the venue. There will also be a Silent Mix where festival-goers can donate a small amount towards deaf awareness and enjoy the Mix FM DJ’s in a private headphone party.
